01 · The challenge

Working parents want healthy dinner, but have no time to cook

Working parents don't have time to cook but want healthy, homemade food for their family. They're time-sensitive — planning dinner ahead for the week and expecting it on time. Meanwhile, immigrants and stay-at-home parents are struggling to make extra income with their cooking.

The solution: a platform connecting busy families to quality home-cooked food, while giving home chefs an economic opportunity.

02 · Research

Trust is the No. 1 concern in ordering homemade food

After a brainstorming session distilled into five key research points, I ran qualitative interviews with 5 people and a survey with 12, spanning both order-side and cook-side users.

"I order Uber Eats almost every night because I really don't have time to cook. If there's a more healthy option I'd love to try, but I need to know the chef and how I can trust him/her."
